Roughstock Market & Boutique was founded by Alex Lashmar and Selah Nisbet in 2025. What began as a small farm stand selling fresh eggs has grown into a boutique focused on natural, ranch-inspired products.
While working long days in the elements, Alex and Selah experienced firsthand how harsh weather can affect the skin. They turned to a time-tested remedy that ranchers have trusted for generations — beef tallow skincare. Seeing the incredible difference it made, they developed their own line so others could benefit too.
Their mission is simple: to create honest, Canadian-made products that are organic, effective, and rooted in the ranching way of life.
Our Ranch
Roughstock Market & Boutique is based at Lashmar Ranch in Pitt Meadows, BC — a working ranch surrounded by open fields, horses, and wide skies. The ranch is more than just home; it’s the inspiration behind everything we do. Life here is rugged, real, and connected to the land.
